Lisa Kopsieker is a scientist who, in the past, has focused on researching policy opportunities for nature conservation on privately owned land. As a German citizen who grew up in East Africa and studied conservation science in the UK, she has a broader perspective on Europe’s conservation sector and policies. Ms Kopsieker is NABU’s nominee for the LIFE ENPLC Private Land Conservation Ambassador programme.

The LIFE-funded ENPLC Project is an initiative by organisations representing private landowners and nature conservationists with the common aim to conserve and restore privately owned and managed land for nature and the climate. Our project’s vital part is strengthening trust and cooperation between all stakeholders. To this end, Eurosite and ELO have established the Conservation Landowners Coalition (CLC) as a European partnership of landowners and conservationists.
