Omer Kovčić

Omer has a PhD, and is assistant professor at the University of Tuzla, Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering, Tuzla. He was born on 14th of October 1984 in City of Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Currently, he is working as a Project Manager and responsible designer hydraulic structures in JP “Spreča” – Public Enterprise for water management activities dd Tuzla and also as external collaborator – Assistant Professor for scientific disciplines: ”Hydrogeology and water engineering” (group of hydro-technical subjects) at Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering, University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He especially has experience in the field of digital design (peculiarly software packages of hydroinformatics) using software packages such as: Microsoft Office, Autodesk Civil 3D, Auto Cad, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Bentley Sewercad, Bentley WaterCad, Bentley StormCad Bentley Hammer, ArcGIS, and Revit MEP. Additionally he participates in projects such as Danube Transnational Programme, Danube Future and COST program. By September 2019 Omer published more than 20 papers in international peer-review journals, participated on more than 10 international and national scientific conferences.
