FREE 8-week online course for everyone looking to create an action plan for ecosystem restoration
Are you a government representative, conservation practitioner, or student interested in ecosystem restoration? Do you want to become more skilled at preventing, halting, and reversing the degradation of ecosystems? Then sign up for the 2022 Massive Open Online Course on Ecosystem Restoration starting 19 September!
Eurosite President Tilmann Disselhoff: “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for public employees and fellow conservationists to learn step-by-step how to effectively set up a restoration plan. Highly recommended!“
From the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) website, the coordinator of the course:
The course serves as an introduction to the Short-Term Action Plan on Ecosystem Restoration (STAPER) — a flexible framework adopted by the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity to support, inter alia, governments in the development and implementation of their national restoration strategies. The course is geared to government representatives interested in creating a blueprint for ecosystem restoration at the national or subnational level, but is open to everyone. The course is available in English, French, and Spanish, and is facilitated by ecosystem restoration experts.
