Find the agenda of the workshop and registration options here. This event can also be attended online.
🗓️ Friday May 26, 2023 1:30pm-6:30pm in Brussels, Belgium
A label for nature conservation can allow consumers to identify whether products or services are produced through environmentally friendly methods. 65% Of voluntary food labelling schemes in Europe are privately runned. Such labels are widely used on private lands and have shown to be an effective tool to support private land conservation initiatives.
In this workshop we share and discuss the findings of a European review conducted on the use of voluntary nature friendly labels for private land managers in Europe, with practical examples and experiences from a wide range of stakeholders.
This discussion will feed into a policy paper for the benefit of producers, consumers and nature conservation in Europe.
It is also possible to join the event online via zoom.
We recommend that participants, if necessary, book their hotel room at Motel One (we have some reserved reservations if necessary contact firstname.lastname@example.org).
The project is hosting another event in Brussels on the 27th of May where we will comb the beautiful nature reserve “Tienbunder”! The aim is to search for as many plant and animal species as possible in 24 hours. You can sign up for this event here.
