LIFE TraiN2K Workshop: European network of Natura 2000 experts and stakeholders

LIFE TraiN2K has kicked-off in November last year with the aim of improving the conservation and management of Natura 2000 sites and restoration of nature by bridging the training gap with a new Natura 2000 Training Institute.

As a key step towards building a network of Natura 2000 experts and stakeholders, the LIFE TraiN2K team is organising an online workshop on the 2 April 2025 (express interest before 26 March).

The event will feature three working groups, in which you are invited to participate online. Each group will focus on a key aspect of the training program development:

• Setting up the Training Needs Analysis – your involvement is helpful in validating and/or supplementing the proposed methodology for collecting and assessing training needs.
• Building a Network of Experts for Training N2000 – your involvement is helpful in identifying target institutions from which experts could be recruited to fulfill training needs and define the training program across Europe.
• Promotion of the Training Programme and Launch of Call for Applicants – Recruitment Strategy: sharing and enhancement of the functional communication plan for recruitment, validation of task and time management processes, and definition of the Call for Applicants.
