REGISTRATION FOR THE LIFE ATIAS WORKSHOP IS OPEN

LIFE ATIAS is the first coordinated effort to address the threat of invasive alien species (IAS) in Greece. 

The project aims to establish an early detection and rapid eradication system for IAS in Northern Greece. Moreover, it will introduce a technical and administrative framework for the local eradication within and around NATURA 2000 sites, and the containment of the feral population of American mink in the wider regions of western and central Macedonia.

Registration and Prices 

Free event ticket includes: transportation to and from Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) to the venue, field visit and food and drinks. 

You are responsible for your flights and your hotel room- We suggest Limneon Resort & Spa – https://www.limneon.com/en/  for a discounted rate of EUR 140 for 2 night stay when making your reservation for the “Eurosite Event.” All extra hotel amenities will be available to you if time provides! 

Please plan to arrive in Thessaloniki airport before 16.00 on 12 September, and to leave Thessaloniki airport after 17.30 on 14 September. If you are unable to book within these times, please let us know so we can further assist you in getting to Kastoria.
