Centralparks: Transnational cooperation for the sustainable future of the Carpathian region
23 March - 24 March
The Carpathians belong to the most critical European eco-regions. Biodiversity loss and increasing pressures threaten its outstanding natural values. Traditional approaches to resource management and nature conservation are no longer sufficient to guarantee long-lasting economic benefits and the provision of ecosystem services. One country alone cannot solve such problems and require transnational cooperation.
The Central Europe Interreg project “Centralparks” was developed to tackle the challenges of improved management capacities in protected areas. After three successful years, the project ends and will present its conclusive outcomes to the broader public. Therefore, the project partners are pleased to invite you to join the Centralparks final conference with the title “Transnational cooperation for the sustainable future of the Carpathian region” and discuss the sustainable future of the Carpathian region together live in Poland or online on 23 & 24 March 2022.
Please find further information regarding the conference on its project website.
