Nostra missione

La nostra missione è quella di potenziare, promuovere e favorire lo scambio di competenze relative alla gestione dei siti per la conservazione della natura in tutta Europa. Eurosite è unica nel suo genere: è una delle più vaste reti paneuropee di enti governativi, non governativi e di organismi privati che collaborano attivamente alla gestione pratica degli ambienti naturali in Europa. Attualmente sono più di 72 i membri della rete Eurosite] di 23 diversi paesi europei impegnati nell’attuazione di questa missione.

  • Annual Conference Réserves Naturelles de France

    In 2012, Réserves Naturelles de France celebrates its thirtieth anniversary in fine style by holding its annual conference in Brittany, Trégastel, near one of the oldest nature reserves in France, 'la réserve naturelle des 7 îles'.  
  • World Migratory Bird Day 2012

    World Migratory Bird Day was initiated in 2006 and is an annual awareness-raising campaign highlighting the need for the protection of migratory birds and their habitats. World Migratory Bird Day is organized by the Secretariats of the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) and the African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbird Agreement (AEWA) – two international wildlife treaties administered by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) – and a growing number of partners.  
  • 1st International Congress on management and awareness in protected volcanic landscapes (VOLCANDPARK)

    Volcandpark is the first international congress to be devoted to the management, the raising of awareness, and geotourism in protected volcanic areas. It aims to provide a unique opportunity to bring together people from many different fields (scientists, administrators, politicians, tour operators, etc), any of whom may become involved in some way in territorial planning, management and promotion of protected volcanic areas (national and natural parks, natural reserves, etc.).  
  • Habitat Restoration in Natura 2000 sites in Krkonose NP and Europe

    This classic Eurosite workshop will demonstrate the value of learning from sharing and comparing ‘on the ground’ site management experiences. It will focus on the management approaches being developed and applied across Krkonose’s 29 diverse habitat types. At the same time, site managers from the Eurosite network will be identified and invited to input and share their practical experience of restoration approaches in diverse habitats.  

  • 6th International Conference on Monitoring and Management of Visitors in Recreational and Protected Areas

    The MMV conference provides a forum for presentations and other exchanges of ideas and experiences related to the monitoring and management of visitors in recreation and protected areas. The emphasis is on policies, problems, practices and innovative solutions, and will therefore be of equal relevance to managers and researchers.
