International Symposium “Strategies for Adapting to Climate Change in the Regions of Europe
Climate change is a global phenomenon – however, extent and nature of the climate change-induced impact vary considerably at the regional level. This is the reason why the regions in particular are faced with major challenges when it comes to adapting to the effects of climate change.
In this regard, cross-border co-operation is indispensable with a view to learning from other EU-regions possibly faced with similar problems.
The three-day symposium aims at:
- bringing together the regions of Europe;
- exchanging experience in adaptation policy;
- pooling information and knowledge;
- discussing aspects of future co-operation between EU-regions in the field of adaptation.
Please note that the working language of the symposium will be English.

The number of participants is limited, therefore, please ensure your registration as soon as possible. Attendance is free of charge. Participants must bear all their costs for travel and lodging themselves.
