Habitat Banking in the EU

Eftec is leading a research project for the European Commission looking at the potential use of habitat banking in the EU as an economic instrument for biodiversity protection.

As part of the work we are organising a workshop on the 11th September at DG Environment in Brussels, starting at approximately 10:30, and end by 16:00.

A programme for the workshop and a summary report will be circulated in mid-August. The summary report will form the basis of discussion at the workshop.

If you wish to attend the workshop, or cannot attend, but would like to receive and comment on the summary report, please respond asap, and preferably, by the 7th August to Olga Anderson Olga@eftec.co.uk

Unfortunately places are limited at the workshop venue we cannot guarantee places to all those who would like to come. Please respond soon to reserve your place, but note that places will be allocated to achieve a representative set of participants from around Europe.
