Advanced Nature Protection Planning for Ports

A Paralia Workshop was held on the 6th and 7th July in Brussels. The attached report summarizes the presentations and points of view of the participants on matters incl. Natura2000, water frame work and habitats directives.
The discussion focused on Habitat Banking and (integrated) management plans. The speakers’ presentations illustrated a broad variety of cases, examples and explanations from diverse countries, like Belgium and the Netherlands.
