The third LIFE+ call for proposals was published on the 15th May 2009 by the European Commission. Project proposals should be sent to the relevant national authorities, no later than 15th September 2009.

Application timeline

• Deadline for proposal submission: 15.09.2009;
• National authorities proposal fowarding the the EC: 22.10.2009;
• EC final announcement of successful applications July-August 2010;
• Projects will commence at the beginning of 2011.

Eurosite reminds members to pay carefull attention to the eligibility criteria and general requirements of the application package.

LIFE+ application

This is the 3rd call for LIFE+ project applications - up to €250 million is being made available for co-financing of projects under three headings:

• Nature and biodiversity;
• Environment policy and governance; and
• Information and communication.
