Mission
To exchange, enhance and promote expertise in the management of sites for nature, throughout Europe. Eurosite is unique – it is one of the largest pan-European networks bringing together governmental and non-governmental organisations, as well as private bodies, in active collaboration for the practical management of Europe’s nature. There are currently 62 members of the Eurosite network from 21 European countries engaged in the delivery of this mission.

Since it´s inauguration in 1999 this commemorative event invites people to protected areas and raises awareness about their importance for biodiversity protection. This day is celebrated on and around the 24th of May. This year, protected area organisations and administrations invite their employees, visitors and all stakeholders to share their experiences in nature by fine arts: Everybody who loves nature can take part and can express his / her passion in a story, a song, a picture, a film, a play, or any piece of art.
- The seventh Forum TIC des Espaces Naturels is organised by Eurosite member G.I.P. Atelier Technique des Espaces Naturels. The seminar is open to members of G.I.P. ATEN, project managers, local authorities, scientists and all those for whom ICT has become essential and who are looking for new tools (to draw charters, for database modeling and / or communication through new technologies).Event:28/05/2013 - 29/05/2013
