Volunteering in Greece: Nature conservation projects with the Hellenic Ornithological Society
Volunteers are a vital force for the Hellenic Ornithological Society. Every year hundreds of Greek nationals and visitors support actions contributing substantially to protect birds, habitats and wildlife throughout Greece. Without volunteers, this work would be very much limited.
Hellenic Ornithological Society voluntary projects welcome any adult who is interested in wildlife and its protection and is willing to learn more about birds and wildlife in general. Volunteering offers an opportunity to be trained by experts, in-the-field, and to cooperate with other people - making friends from all over the world.

- Bird Ringing in Antikythira: To help in the ringing process (volunteers participate according to their experience); and mapping and data entry. For more details visit link;
