Cycling for the Imperial Eagle

On Friday 23rd April, four former Natuurmonumenten regional directors/inspectors started a long bicycle tour. Feiko Prins, Gert van der Slikke, Jan Willem van Rijn and Juun de Boer will cycle from Schaep and Burgh to the Sakar highlands at the border of Bulgaria and Turkey.

It is here where one of the last nesting areas of the Imperial Eagle in Europe can be found. With this bicycle tour, the men would like to emphasize the need for conservation and protection and support for conservation organisations.

For donations, the Natuurmonumenten accountnumber is 9933 in 's-Graveland, the Netherlands, mentioning 'cycling for the Imperial Eagle'.
